Makotoya The Organic Japanese Cafe

Makotoya is the dream and commitment of one woman to introduce wholesome Japanese cuisine to Pakistan. The proprietor, Rie Mihara, has been a resident of Karachi since 2016 and hopes that more people will try Japanese food that is healthy and organic. Only a few essential ingredients are periodically imported from Japan; the rest are newly purchased from organic vendors.

The café’s tasteful Japanese food is served in a simple setting. The appetizers include Dashimaki-Tamago, Wasabi and Basil Prawns, Peppered Beef Salad, and Wasabi and Basil Prawns (Japanese omelet). The Maguro Steak (tuna steak) is the best main dish, and the Matcha Pudding is the perfect way to end the dinner.
